Sales Executive

Do you have a strong background in Sales? Are you ready to dive into the world of A.I. driven intelligence solutions by supporting the Pandora Intelligence Sales department? Then consider joining our team! 

What will you do as a Sales Executive?

The main goal of the Sales Executive is to drive sales of Pandora Intelligence solutions through the identification of new prospects and conversion of those into paying customers. Besides building relationships with new customers, the Sales Executive has to maintain relationships with current customers and identify potential for up- or cross- sales. To seek new opportunities, the Sales Executive is expected to be able to use its network, perform cold-calling and use social media to identify its target accounts.  

Jointly with the marketing team, the Sales Executive will participate in product and solution launch campaigns by promoting it to the relevant audience.  

As the liaison between customers and the company, the Sales Executive advocates and communicates feedback from the market and customers to the relevant teams.

Typical tasks of the Sales Executive are to:
  • Prospect leads, plan calls or meetings to assess their needs and pitch the relevant solution(s).
  • Listen to prospects and customers to identify their pain (and potential gain) and orient conversation and presentations accordingly.
  • Deliver presentations and simple demos to prospects, can be done jointly with consultants when demos require technical depth.
  • Participate in conferences, and relevant industry meet-ups for business development and networking.
  • Negotiating contracts to reach an optimum deal while focusing on building long-term relationships.
  • Identifying market demand, trends and competition to adapt the pitches and presentations.
  • Keep track of leads and prospects, and keep their status updated in the relevant tooling (CRM).
  • Create detailed proposal documents that align with both the available solution(s) and customer needs (can be done jointly with consultants).
  • Collaborate and consult with peers, to ensure relevance of prospects and potential proposals to be made.
  • Represent the company at events and demonstrate the relevance of the platform and solution for the target industries.
  • Be able to identify the relevant buyer personas and collaborate with sales and marketing to adapt the messaging and positioning.
  • Support and coach new members of the team.

What do we expect from a Sales Executive?

  • At least a BSc or equivalent, preferably a MSc in relevant field
  • At least 5 years of experience in similar position
  • Proven track record in the above (reference from the previous position)
  • Great presentation skills to make the solutions appealing to customers
  • Excellent communication skills, with various types of stakeholders
  • Sense of ownership in performance and impact on company’s success
  • Working with structure and regularly updating the CRM
  • Ability to flourish in a startup and competitive, environment
  • Problem solving mindset, ability to take initiative and attention to detail
  • Proven record of successfully closed deals and pipeline creation
  • Perfect verbal and written Dutch, English would be a great addition
